Habari Theme: 281 May 19

Theme updated to Habari 0.6 release - Please download updated version of this theme

After a few weeks of fiddling, I have finally released 281 - Habari Edition.

This is a port of the original Wordpress theme 281, created by Paul Stamatiou. Obviously I should thank Paul for letting me fiddle with his original theme, maybe this will prompt him to look at moving to Habari in the near future. 281 should look identical to a Wordpress site running the same theme, although over time I will be adding some of the additional plugins Habari offers to give you more to play with, right out of the box!

I’ll let Paul explain his thinking behind the theme;

281 is a joint project between myself and Neil Patel of Pronet Advertising. Neil approached me a while back and we started talking about how there was really no strong WordPress theme that combined slick minimalist aesthetics, speed and search engine optimization. That’s exactly what 281 promises to be…
What’s with the theme’s name.. 281? Well nothing really, 281 is a favorite number of mine and also happens to be the cubic displacement of modern 4.6 Liter V8 Mustangs.

281 should work in IE6 or IE7, as well as any Webkit or Gecko based browser, although please report any bugs or questions to me rather than Paul.
