Official: Discworld on ScummVM 10 July 2009

In the early hours of this morning, the ScummVM team officially announced the support of the first two Discworld games by the ScummVM application.

This official announcement has been a long time coming, and whilst support for the two games has been in the daily builds since Christmas, no announcement was to be made until the games to officially became freeware. Unfortunately the licencing procedure has stalled, so for now you will have to use a PC version of the game you have legally bought. For Mac users, this now means you can run Discworld in either ScummVM or the previously mentioned Boxer.

So grab yourself a copy of the daily build, as well as a copy of . James Woodcock’s enhanced soundtrack.

Polite Notice

I get about a dozen emails a month asking if I could provide a copy of the Discworld games. No. I won’t. Please don’t ask.
